Lily's back!

I've been a little AWOL lately, ok a lot AWOL. The cause of this began with a trip away, and a very important question being, well, popped. 

Yes you heard correct, I'm engaged! And I couldn't be happier about it.

My fairytalesque romance has well and truly blossomed into what can only be described by me as 'life changing'. I guess this is what they mean by 'when you know, you know'.

Since the question was asked, and of course agreed to, I've been researching, not researching, planning, not planning... I've become somewhat knowledgable on diamonds, purchased a bridal magazine (one!), attended my first (and hopefully last) wedding expo and visited numerous potential locations in the last few months with the hope of finding the one place that just fits.

I think we may have found that place, last weekend. At least we're a lot closer! I'm not sure I'm quite ready to disclose said location, however I will let you in on some of the fabulous places I have visited in my quest for a wedding venue. Most are a little off the beaten track in terms of Canberra weddings, so I hope I can give some inspiration for you next girly catch up, date or family outing. Stay tuned...
